At Home.

It has been a day of ‘vignette-ing’. A new verb I have invented (derived from vignette) that expresses the action of placing random bunches of objects together – usually in odd numbers so I’m told – to tell a story or paint a visual picture. My teachers will probably say I have a long way to go in honing my vignetter’s eye but I quite liked this one. I have reaped vignette-ing havoc through the house leaving piles of objects, reminiscent of swept autumn leaves, cluttering the surfaces. It’s all worth it in the name of creativity wouldn’t you say?
