Taronga Zoo Skycar

Of all the things I could photograph at the Zoo, you would imagine the Meerkats or even a Mountain Goat might excite me more. However, it’s Murphy’s Law that whenever you want a photo of an animal, they choose to hide in a cave or go to sleep. Thankfully, not all hope was lost on this trip. Who could ignore the exotic breed they call the ‘Skycar’? – A very brave species with a high level of mobility, the Skycar is renowned for being fairly antisocial amongst it’s own family group but can usually be viewed in all weather conditions. It is well adapted to human contact and can be trained to a high level of obedience. My favourite today.
